Welcome to Petdoon. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Petdoon platform, including our website and mobile applications. By creating an account or using Petdoon, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Petdoon is a social networking platform designed for pet owners to connect, share experiences, find pet matches, and discover pet services. The platform includes features such as Pet Chat (messaging with other pet owners), Pet Match (finding compatible pets for playdates or breeding), and Pet Need (discovering local pet services including veterinary care, grooming, and pet stores).
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Conduct and Content
You agree to use the platform responsibly and not to: post false, misleading, or deceptive content; upload content that is offensive, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or violates the rights of others; impersonate any person or entity; use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose; spam, harass, or harm other users; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
5. Content Ownership and License
You retain ownership of any content you post on Petdoon. By posting content, you grant Petdoon a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the service. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
6. Pet Services and Third-Party Providers
Petdoon provides information about pet services and facilitates connections with service providers, but we are not a party to any transactions between you and service providers. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered by third parties. You are responsible for verifying the credentials and reputation of any service provider before engaging their services.
7. Pet Matching and Safety
When using Pet Match, you are solely responsible for any meetings, playdates, or breeding arrangements with other pet owners. Petdoon is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or other issues that may arise from such interactions. Always meet in safe, public locations and verify the health and vaccination status of pets.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petdoon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Petdoon operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the platform prior to the changes taking effect. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
